started in 1985 by owner Pam Alexander, a native San Franciscan. The Cruise
Director was one of the nation's first agencies dedicated exclusively
to the sales and promotion of cruise vacations. This agency specializes
in cruises for individuals as well as large groups. Whether you are shopping
for a Honeymoon cruise for two, a family vacation with the children, or
a group cruise for your special interest or social service club, church,
class reunion or business, The Cruise Director will have just what you're
looking for! We are now beginning our 16th successful year in business,
thanks to the thousands of satisfied friends and passengers from all over
the world that we have had the privilege to work with (and cruise with)
over these many years. The Cruise Director Incorporated is a California

took her first walk up the gangway of a cruise ship in 1977 and it was
love at first sailing. "Once I heard that ship's whistle blow it
sent a shiver through me that changed my life!" She has dedicated
her career to the cruise industry. First as an instructor working for
Pacific Cruise Conference and Cruise Lines International Association,
during which time she had the opportunity to conduct many "Seminars
at Sea" aboard a variety of cruise liners training travel agents
how to sell and promote cruise vacations. Later she worked as a Regional
Sales Manager for a cruise line specializing in Mediterranean and South
American Cruises. It was only natural that this extensive cruise background
would eventually evolve into an agency that is dedicated to working with
the cruise lines to bring YOU her very best cruise expertise and knowledge.

working with Pam in 1995. What a lucky day to find such an experienced
counselor for The Cruise Director. Karen is a native of Toronto, Canada.
She has traveled extensively throughout the world during her 25 years
in the travel industry. Karen has worked for Canadian Airlines, Carnival
Cruise Lines, and she was the shipboard group tour director on Costa Cruise
Line cruising for months at a time throughout the Caribbean and South
America. She was co-owner of a '65 cutter-rigged sailing schooner, Silent
Lady, a vessel used for snorkel and sailing trips in St. Thomas (U.S.
Virgin Islands). She relocated with Silent Lady to Hawaii and Maui, where
this exciting business continued. She has earned a degree in Travel and
Tourism and is highly qualified to work with YOU to make sure that your
cruise vacation is everything you've dreamed it would be!
